Event Functions

Are your golfers signing up for events the old fashion way? You post a sign up sheet on the board, members signup in pencil and the golf staff must deal with erasure marks from cancellations. Then you have to read different handwritings and decipher member numbers just to enter them into the tournament management system. All this, without any record of this activity and now you have a member swearing he signed up and demands to be entered in the event.

Built into every system is the ability for members to signup for events. You can control the sign up starting and ending dates and times, restrict members by gender or league affiliation, maximum number of players and if guests are permitted. Special guest sign up functions include the guest's name, index, home club's name, home club pro's name and IGN number.

Saving more staff time and reducing errors is achieved with the signup import function. Simply import the signup sheet into your Tournament Management System (check Systems Interfaces for supported products) and process the tournament like normal.  The tournament information can then be imported into the tee sheet and email conformations sent to each tournament golfer informing them of their time, hole and position.

The handicapping committee will also receive reports on golfers that have played and failed to post a score (missing handicap). Comparing score cards and tee sheets are finally a thing of the past.
